In addition, artificial turf needs several weeks of use and weathering to perform at its best athletic performance. During this period, not only the grass fiber is required to be stable, but also the particle filling is required to be moderate in order to achieve the ideal state of long-term exercise.
2. Artificial lawn cleaning and decontamination. Rain is the best cleaner of artificial grass. Rainwater gently washes the grass fibers of dust, pollen and other airborne pollutants.
Artificial turf should avoid the following problems:
a. Place enough rubbish bins to avoid overflow of rubbish.
b. Dedicate a dedicated parking lane to reduce dirt and car prints on the sports field.
c. Emphasize smoke-free environment. If possible, chewing gum similar to cigarettes is recommended.
3. Small-scale cleaning of artificial turf. It will be easier to clean up paper, peanut shells, melon seeds, etc. with a vacuum cleaner in time after the game. A satisfactory vacuum will pick up shredded paper, food scraps, surface dust, and more. There are a few things to note when using these machines:
a. Type of brush The cleaning machine must have a synthetic fiber brush similar to nylon or polyolefin with a minimum length of 2.5 inches. Brushes must not contain metal or wires.
b. The cleaning brush must be installed. Correct use of the cleaning machine can prevent the cleaning machine from carrying away the rubber particles filled in the turf. Users should pay special attention to installation. The cleaner works best when the brush cannot reach the tips of the grass fibers. Do not stick the brush into grass fibers, filler or underlayment.
c, artificial turf cleaning temperature limit. In summer, when the temperature exceeds 33°C, cleaning and maintenance work is not recommended.
d. Vehicle gas emissions are prohibited. This can effectively prevent fire or melt grass fibers due to high temperature, and it is forbidden to park vehicles on the grass that are not turned off.

5. Repair
(1) Burns from cigarettes
Often cigarettes melt the tips of the fibers to create hard spots. Use a metal brush (used for scraping paint) to brush the spot hard until it is free of the fibers. If the spots cannot be brushed open, use a razor to cut open the spots before brushing.
(2) Empty point
The turf infills in these areas are thinner than the entire field, and they are usually discovered a few weeks after each infill. These areas are invisible but feel like depressions when walking on the turf.
Trim these areas:
(1) Continue to brush the entire sports field again, this is a very important step.
(2) Fill a basket of rubber granules at specific points and some very thin places, and sweep it into the fibers with a hard broom or a small palm to sort out the turf particles again.
(3) Clean the entire sports field again.
